Unlike their counterparts, dendrimers, which are highly ordered macromolecules with well-defined (symmetric) structure, and their architecture require multiple-step reactions and purification cycles, which are difficult and time-consuming, HBPs were considered from the beginning as products suitable for large-scale application, where a perfect structure is sacrificed for an easy and affordable synthetic route.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_custom_heading text=”Hyperbranched Polymers” font_container=”tag:h5|font_size:32|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Roboto%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C500%2C500italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:100%20light%20regular%3A100%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”Main features” tab_id=”1590665707334-93f7afd7-88b4fe32-bb95291d-9dc4″][vc_column_text]As irregular and random distribution of branches and molar mass are acceptable for HPBs, one-pot synthesis is generally used. This advantage makes HPBs attractive alternatives to dendrimers and the focus of increasing attention. Potential applications of HBPs in drug delivery vehicles, coatings, lubricants, viscosity modifiers, and catalytic supports have been widely reported. This kind of HBPs has been used in the field of plastic polymer and coating with the development of polymer science, but the potential application of this type of polymers as wood adhesives has never been mentioned. Inspired by the structural analysis of the traditional resin adhesive, a highly branched and cross-linked structure is one of the very important factors for its bonding performance as a thermosetting wood adhesive resin. Thus, this kind of HBP would be a potential candidate as a formaldehyde-free wood adhesive. Herein, we would like to verify this new idea of using HBPs as wood adhesives.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Applications” tab_id=”1585137171451-7c8f3b8c-d48e093e-a1f2b2f4-5bae8012-22c74369-5ec0fe32-bb95291d-9dc4″][vc_column_text]Benefiting from their unique architectural, structural, and functional features, dendritic macromolecules are poised to make significant contributions in several areas of the physical and biological sciences and engineering.

Their nanometer size, globular shape, and multivalent character and the modularity of their assembly suggest and enable their use in a host of biomimetic and nanotechnological applications.

The new applications of dendrimers take advantage of their structural features and polyvalent character. In particular, the concept of dendritic encapsulation of function, borrowed from Nature, can be applied to the design of a varied array of chemical formulations, polymers synthesis, or catalytic macromolecules.

The compact size and hierarchical ordering of components within dendrimers make them ideal for exploring the limits of nanolithography. Finally, the presence of differentiated functionalities and the polyvalent character of dendrons and dendrimers constitute strong assets for their use in polymer therapeutics.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_images_carousel images=”3709,3696,3699,3697″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_no” autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_column_text] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”2901″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” onclick=”custom_link” css_animation=”left-to-right” link=”https://bormawachs.com/”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

HOME > PHILOSOPHY > PLANET GREEN > PLANET GREEN 13 > MATTER

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”June 12, 2020″ font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:18|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Roboto%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C500%2C500italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:100%20light%20regular%3A100%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]Dendrimers and Hyperbranched Polymers: from building blocks to functional assemblies in nanotechnology.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text] [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3690″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acssuschemeng.9b07732″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Inspired by the structural analysis of the traditional resin

[32,27,26,28
39,40
post-3686","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nanotecnologie","category-material","category-planet-green","category-polymer","tag-nanotecnologie","tag-polimeri
["GET
