The small quantities contained in the felt-tip pen determine an impact on the environment and health, in terms of consumption and exposure respectively, which is almost negligible and a shareable compromise.
The evaluation of the color must be done carefully, it is useful to use a series of markers, in order to choose the most suitable one, and make two retouches.

Surface scratch touch up on PVC
PVC is a plastic material, and any scratches can expose internal lower layers of a different color than the color of the external surface. The next step is the grouting of the scratch with STUCCORAPIDO soft wax, to then complete the intervention with a FINISHING operation, by glazing with transparent paint applied by spray.
The coloring of scratches on plastic materials can be carried out with PROFIX PEN thin tip markers. The use of extra fine tips is necessary to be able to intervene in thin and deep scratches. The filling of a scratch on PVC can be carried out with STUCCORAPIDO soft wax. The use of soft wax is recommended when the use of wax requires heat and temperature with specific instruments, and any contact with the PVC would cause surface alterations if not melting of the surface. It is also advisable to make an accurate choice of color, focusing the lighter shades of the “synthetic” grain of the PVC. Before proceeding with the application of soft wax, it is necessary to sand the surface with very fine grain, however after having touched up the color of the scratch with a fine tip marker. Use a steel spatula, forcefully fill the scratch to obtain a compact structure. It is preferable to proceed with grouting immediately after applying the marker, to improve the adhesion of the wax with the PVC. After the application remove the excess of wax with sandpaper, very fine grain.
